KEECO’s Silica Micro-Encapsulation (SME) Technology is
being widely accepted in
KEECO,
a provider of heavy metals remediation technologies worldwide, announced today
it has, through their operative partner N.E.A.T. Environment™, Inc., replaced conventional treatment systems in six (6)
electroplating companies and several radiator shops in both
Lynnwood, Washington, July 23, 2002 KEECO
announced today that as a part of the company’s global expansion plans, it has,
through it’s operative partner, N.E.A.T. Environment™, Inc. treated over 1.5
million gallons of process waters from electroplating companies and radiator
repair shops in British Columbia and Alberta.
These clients are converting to SME products because, in addition to
meeting stringent new requirements from the Ministries of Environment and City
Sewage Discharge Standards, clients are seeing significant cost reductions for
disposal of the SME sludge products that have been classified as non-hazardous.
